Sometimes a product can't move through the normal channels for reasons unrelated to what's inside the tub.
It's one of the uncomfortable truths of manufacturing at volume. Even when you do everything right, a good product ends up in limbo. We built the Outlet so it doesn't go to waste.
Major retailers often require at least 75% of a product’s shelf life left at delivery. So even if a batch is perfectly fine, if it was made a few months back it may miss that cutoff and can’t be accepted.
A dinted tub. A scratched label. A seal that's technically perfect but sits off-centre from the line. Nothing about the formulation changes, but it still shouldn’t go on a retail shelf.
Products get updated. Ranges get rationalised. A retired flavour doesn't stop being good — it just stops fitting the current lineup. It ends up here.

For over 10 years, BSc has been regularly donating products to organisations like OzHarvest — the food rescue organisation whose yellow trucks back up to our Burleigh warehouse to collect what they can use.
